The electrical system in your house is vital to your comfort and wellbeing. This is why we pay great attention to how the system is installed in all our homes for sale.

Today we invite you to meet Kenneth Abraham and learn more about his company, Active Contracting Inc., and the work they do in installing high quality electrical systems in all Gialluisi homes.

Meet the company

Kenneth Abraham is a professional electrical contractor who takes great pride in his company’s work. Active Contracting Inc is responsible with doing all the electrical work in a home building project and with testing the quality of materials used in every system.

All the electrical materials they use in a home use the latest technology so you can enjoy state of the art electricity. “Everything is done neatly,” says Kenneth, “because nowadays, if there is one thing you cannot live without, that is electricity.”

Active Contracting Inc specializes in installing basic electrical systems and audio-visual systems. They also install LED lighting and different types of sound systems. “We make the houses as simple or as technologically advanced as the customer wants,” explains Kenneth.

Working with Gialluisi

Kenneth has been working with Todd Ellner, one of Gialluisi’s founding members, for over 20 years. The fact that they knew each other made it easier for Active Contracting Inc to take over the electrical work for Gialluisi Custom Homes.

When it comes to building a home from scratch, Kenneth knows that listening to the clients’ requests is the most important thing. “I am open to any questions they ask me and my team,” he explains.

Even after the owners move in, Active Contracting Inc offers continuous support. The company issues a warranty in case you may come across any problems.

Active Contracting Inc’s work in home renovations

When asked about the company’s role in home renovations, Kenneth encourages homeowners to improve the home’s electrical system and to put an emphasis on quality renovations that treat the home as a whole.

“If they don’t have a custom plan, we advise them according to their wishes in matters of lighting and other electrical systems,” explains Kenneth. “I like music in the kitchen”, he admits, therefore he advises people to create a special atmosphere in the kitchen by installing lighting under the cabinets and an audio system. “It brings the kitchen to live,” Kenneth says, “and turns an otherwise ordinary room into a vibrant one.”

When it comes to adding electrical features in a bathroom, Kenneth says that heated floors and TVs are among people’s top favorites. Kenneth knows that everybody is different and every homeowner has different tastes. “Our job is to make sure that our clients get what they want.”

The most rewarding thing about his job?

“For me, the most important thing is the customer satisfaction.” Nothing makes Kenneth happier about his job than seeing that homeowners love their new homes once they move it or once their renovation project is completed.

He highlights the importance of projecting a home renovation’s results before getting to work, because “customers tend to change their minds often when they don’t know what they want. But when you have a project in place, when you can visualize what the end result is going to look like, you feel more comfortable, because you know what you are going to get.”

A piece of advice from Active Contracting Inc.?

To have your home building project finished on time, make sure you know exactly what you want and avoid changing your mind after the work is done. That is why it is very important to have a good relationship with your contractor and ask questions about things that are unclear to you.
